A world of Augmented Reality at your fingertips
Augmented Reality remains one of the most effective ways of engaging with your audience. That’s why we’ve designed a mega kit of AR tools that can be integrated into your WORLDSPACE or used as a standalone solution.
Here are just some of the opportunities on offer…
Native AR
With native AR, animated 3D objects can be situated in real world environments - it’s a really powerful and very realistic way to display your items in augmented reality. Objects can appear at real world scale, which can help customers visualise products in situ before they buy. We can even add a ‘buy now’ button to drive immediate online purchases. Have a look at a few examples to give you some ideas here.
Web XR
Web XR is the most powerful AR experience that can be offered on the web. We’re built functionality like multiplayer experiences, multi gesture support, video playback on objects in the environment, audio playback and so much more. This video gives an explanation of some of the features and their potential applications.
Facepaint AR
With Facepaint AR, you can map images or videos directly onto the your face. There are tonnes of uses, whether it’s to show support for your sports team with their colours, for fun at Halloween or to show what colour lipstick is going to suit you best, Facepaint AR has you covered. You can see examples in this video or have a go yourself using the QR codes.
Immersive video AR
360 immersive video is a great way to showcase complex 3D graphics and live action. We can create almost anything you can imagine using cutting edge graphics and animation techniques to bring your project to life. Whether it’s an architectural walkthrough, a simulation of a world event, a music video with a twist or an interactive TV advert, these immersive 360 videos really give your content a boost. Check out some of the applications yourself.
Head-things AR
With 25 years of 3D graphics and animation experience we can build just about anything you could possibly want to attach to your head! It’s a great little tool, perfect for seasonal promotions or just a bit of fun.
Advanced tracking software ensures that your “thing” remains perfectly positioned as the user moves. If you want to see how head-things can work, check out some examples here.
Image target AR
Image target AR uses tracking techniques to place anything you want (be that a video, 3D model or animation) in the virtual space. It’s a great way to augment printed materials like posters, flyers or even just the front of a building. You can hide easter eggs in your products, place historical videos on the walls of key buildings, bring your ad to life on the tube, create scavenger hunts and so much more. This is one of the most exciting AR types because it has so much potential; here are a few ideas and applications.
Marker AR
Marker AR uses predefined marker images to track a position in 3D space and lock an image, video, 3D model or animation onto that location. Markers can can go in other graphics (like posters for example), to camouflage them and can be partially customised.
AR apps
While we generally recommend delivering AR via web to make it super accessible, this isn’t always the most suitable option - where your needs go beyond what the web can offer we provide native mobile app builds and VR experiences which have more device capabilities. In short, we offer just about every possible kind of AR so that you get the best advice and solution for your needs.
